KANATI® LIGHT TRUCK LIMITED MANUFACTURER WARRANTY AND LIMITED MILEAGE WARRANTY

Please read this warranty carefully to understand and comply with its terms. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser of Kanati® light truck tires.

Kanati® Tires is a registered trademark of Greenball® Corporation.

WHAT IS WARRANTED?

Kanati® light truck tires that are purchased new and used in normal service on the same vehicle on which they were originally installed are covered as follows:

LIMITED MILEAGE WARRANTY

If within five (5) years from the date of installation, the tire wears evenly across the tread, shoulder to shoulder, down to the tread wear indicators (2/32nds of an inch of tread remaining) before providing the minimum warranted miles of service as indicated by the vehicle odometer, a credit will be issued toward the purchase of a new tire on a pro-rated basis to the actual mileage received. The mileage will be based on the current odometer reading compared to the vehicle mileage when the original tires were installed. The tire dealer must record the mileage reading at the time of installation on the original tire invoice or tire installation form.

Proper Tire Care and Maintenance:

  1. Regular Inspections: Check your tires regularly for signs of wear or damage. Look for foreign objects, cracks, bulges, or cuts.
  2. Maintain Proper Air Pressure: Check your tire pressure monthly and before long trips. Use a reliable tire gauge. Ensure tires are cold for an accurate reading.
  3. Tire Rotation: Rotate your tires according to the vehicle's owner's manual or at least every 5,000 miles to achieve uniform wear and extend tire life. Rotation every 5,000 miles and proof thereof is required to be eligible for Greenball Limited Mileage Warranty.
  4. Alignment and Balancing: Have your vehicle's alignment checked regularly and whenever you feel pulling or vibration. Balance tires when they are mounted on wheels.
  5. Avoid Excessive Load: Do not exceed the maximum load capacity indicated on the tire sidewall. Check your vehicle's owner's manual for load limits.
  6. Speed Awareness: Observe speed limits and avoid fast starts, stops, and turns to avoid excessive tire wear.
  7. Storage: Store tires in a cool, dry place away from sunlight, chemicals, and large temperature fluctuations if they are not in use.
  8. Professional Check-Ups: Have your tires and wheels checked by a professional if you experience any problems.

Safety Tire Warnings:

  1. Overloading: Never exceed the load capacity relative to the tire's load index. Overloading can cause tire overheating and may lead to tire failure.
  2. Speeding: Exceeding speed limits can cause excessive heat buildup in the tire, leading to potential failure.
  3. Under-Inflation: Driving on under-inflated tires can cause tires to overheat and increase the likelihood of tire failure.
  4. Tire Damage: Inspect tires regularly for punctures, cuts, abrasions, or bulges. If damage is detected, have the tire inspected by a professional as soon as possible.
  5. Tire Repair: Not all tires can be repaired. Improper tire repairs can cause deterioration of the tire. Repairs should only be done by qualified personnel. Repairs done to tires may void Greenball warranty terms.
  6. Tire Alterations: Do not make any modifications to your tires. Alterations may not be safe and can affect the performance and safety of your tire.
  7. Chemical Exposure: Avoid exposing your tires to oils, greases, and gasoline, which can deteriorate the rubber.
